Happy Friday!

This morning we took Ainsley for her 3 month check-up with her  Endro doctor.  We meet regularly with her to make sure Ainsley's thyroid meds are controlled.  We learned today not to give Ainsley's daily throyid pill on an empty stomach and with no calcium for at least 30 minutes.  We are going to have to set our alarm clock to wake up a bit earlier to make sure we have that 30 minute gap.  We are going to get her blood checked again in 4 weeks to see how this change in time will help her body absorb the meds better.  They mentioned no meds with calcium when she was re-hospitalized in 2010, but haven't mentioned it since...so thankfully I asked today, "what are those three foods were are to avoid close to her daily meds"?  Now we know:  soy, calcium and iron!
Once we got to the doctor, Ainsley went right over to the kids table and made herself at home!
The doctor today gave us recommendations on how to increase Ainsley's calorie intake..so after the doctor we got her some biscuits and gravy before heading to school.  She loved it!
Ainsley's teacher called us to say the class was on a walk--so we met her class while they were out an about!  Once Ainsley sat down, she immediately began kicking her legs in pure delight...unfortunately it was a 4 seater...so we had to discourage her from kicking her friend in front of her!
Here she is mid-kicking.  Sweet Preston was wondering what was going on with all of the kicking!
Thankfully, Ainsley settled down and was ready to go for a walk!
