Galveston day 2 & Texas Children’s

Day 2! Monday morning we went to our favorite breakfast place and then picked sea shells on the beach.

If you are ever in Galveston we highly recommend this place!! Great food and such a friendly place! Ainsley loves their hush puppies!! They made her some for breakfast.

We were thankful to have some time to walk on the beach and relax before Ainsley’s doctors apt.

This girl LOvES the beach!

Our hotel in the background!

My sweet girl!

Thankful for her spunky spirit!

Time to check out and head to Houston!

When we arrived for her neuromuscular appointment I noticed all of these banners. Such a good feeling to know Ainsley has excellent care. We were early and her doctor saw us early and spent a good amount of time with us!

He said her muscles look good but thinks the concern may lie with her brain signals to the muscles. Her Iowa PT mentioned this in October. He set us up for an eval this summer with a neuropsychologist to do testing and to assess whether she has Developmental Coordination Disorder. He is also going to ask the genetic testing company to rerun her data and he wants her to start OT. All in all we were thankful for a helpful appointment.

Ready for the drive back home to Waco. We got home at 10:30 pm!! Thankful for a helpful visit to Ainsley’s “beach doctor” as she calls him :)!
