MN-Part II

Monday morning we headed to Mayo Clinic to start A’s appointments. Our focus this visit was on genetics, coordination disorder diagnosis and brain to body function testing.

Just the two of us all week-Ains is a fun travel buddy!

Ains wants to be a heart surgeon so we stopped by the medical museum!

More meeting in the afternoon on Monday.

The exam rooms are very large and are so welcoming. This particular doctor met with us for 1.5 hrs and advocated for Ains to have her psychologist brain to body connection testing done at Mayo. We’ve been waiting over a year to get a call that Ains was scheduled for that in TX but thankfully they got Ains in to do this day long testing on Wednesday while we were there, so thankful!

Tuesday we had a 7 am with genetics!

We got to see the sun rise from floor 19!

A was a little tired!

So thankful for Ainsley’s genetic doctor bringing in another colleague to consult. We met the chair of the genetic department and she wanted Ainsley to have a very specific genetic test, so we did blood work.

Ains did great! More updates this weekend!
