New shoes

I keep this blog as a baby book for Ainsley because I print it every year--she is probably going to be mad at me when she is a teenager for posting so many pictures of her eating, but I can't help it.  She is too cute when she digs into a pancake!  There is a diner by our house that we like to go to on some Saturdays for breakfast.

After breakfast we went on a walk.
Ainsley was surprised by all of the water!

Saturday morning, Ryan helped a co-worker move so Ainsley and I went shopping.  We found these red, sparkly Minnie Mouse shoes.  I should have known she loved them when she insisted on wearing them around the store.
Ainsley did a little tap dancing in her shoes on the patio.   Ryan stained this deck last spring and he was not happy when all of the snow melted this spring and revealed a pink deck again!
I gave A a bath last night, got her jammies on and ran to the other room to grab something and came back...and she was in her red shoes again!

This morning I went for a run and it was foggy.  It was beautiful.  If every morning was cool, crisp and foggy I might become a runner!
Today after church, Ainsley wanted to play in the gym--she kept saying "basketball".  She was running all over in her red shoes and fell several times because she was going SO fast, but she didn't care--she loved it.

Ainsley kept running to watch the half court game going on on the other side.  We need to take her to a basketball game next year!
All smiles watching our girl have fun!
Although I am no good at basketball, Ainsley got a kick out of watching us shoot baskets.  She would giggle and laugh every time we shot a basket--glad to know we are entertaining!
A quick bite to eat after b-ball and then afternoon naps a great way to spend a Sunday!  We had to hide Ainsley's shoes this afternoon because we noticed she had a few blisters when we took her shoes off for her nap.  We'll see how long we can keep them hidden, we may have to break out the band-aids!
