Iced tea, new bed, crazy ducks...

This picture sums up our week in the Cohenour house.  It has been busy, busy!  Ainsley put this on her head while driving to school on Thursday.  Ryan and I laughed because it looked like Ainsley just needed a few minutes of quiet to herself, ha!  Don't we all just need a minute sometimes :).  She is such a character!

Ainsley has been SO hungry lately!  We think she's in a growth spurt.  Her teacher called me late Friday afternoon and said, Ainsley didn't have a temp, but was so, so fussy.  I came right over and after 2 big snacks, she was back to normal!
Ainsley tried some iced tea this week--she loved it as much as her mamma does!
She insisted on riding in the saddle before we left, such a country girl!
Ainsley will be transitioning to the 2 year old room in the next month or so...they have started her on a cot since all of the big kids sleep on a cot during nap time.  She is one of 2 kids in the 1 year old room on a cot right now.  When I picked her up on Friday she wanted to show me how she sleeps on her cot (normally she has a sheet on there too, but since it was the end of the day we had already packed that up).
Ainsley's teachers says that she always wants to get out her cot early and tells everyone, "no, no" if they try to touch her cot.  She is so proud of this cot!
Friday I turned the big 34, so Ryan asked one of Ainsley's favorite babysitters to come over so we could go to dinner and shopping.  Shortly after Miss Lauren arrived Friday night, Ainsley said, "bye, bye" to us and was ready for us to go!  I love that she loves Miss Lauren so much--she was Ainsley's infant teacher at daycare.
This morning we went out for pancakes and Ainsley had fun playing with this dinosaur at the diner.
After breakfast we worked off our pancakes on a walk at the park.

Tonight Ainsley tried spinach dip for the first time--she loves chips!
After dinner we went to another park and were going to feed the ducks.  Ainsley loves animals, so we thought she would love it.  The ducks were SO happy to see us, I fed them some Ritz crackers.  They were very close to us and just kept coming...I started running (and screaming) and Ryan took Ainsley.  We were running for the lake...the ducks followed us.  We saw a sign that said, "don't feed the ducks".  Oh, my!  We should have known.  We ran to the car and the people watching us in the apartment building close by got a good laugh.  We learned our lesson tonight!

Ainsley has a big personality! Live the pic with the blanket on her head and it's so cute that she's so proud of her cot!
