Once bitten...

Our sweet girl has been a little mischievous at school recently....yesterday her report card said she was taking toys from many of her friends AND taking their food during snacks and lunch!!  We went to RL last night to celebrate my last Monday night class and I had to remind Ainsley that the cheddar bay biscuits she was enjoying was in no relation to her behavior at school.  We do not want to promote this behavior (ha)!!!
Today's report card said Ainsley was bitten by a friend at school, but there was no blood drawn--so they cleaned up the bite mark.  She was ok thankfully....
The next line on her report card said, "Ainsley bit a teacher today"...ugh!  Little miss was both the receiver of a bite today and the giver of a bite today.  She is full of life these days!!  We have some things to work on here at the Cohenour house!
On a positive note today Ainsley ate peas tonight at dinner!  One week she hates them, the next week she loves them!  She is also communicating more with us and has recently started calling me "mommy" instead of "mamma"--melts my heart.  She's a keeper!

NRK went through a biting stage. while i found biting frustrating... it's nice to know biting at that age is common and generally passes quickly (with firm parenting). you have a lovely child... this too shall pass! :)

It's precious that she starting calling you Mommy. I can't wait to see her again. In Dec. she wasn't really talking at all You should start calling her Jaws. That was Brock's nickname at daycare for a while :) What is up with her wild hair-ha ha!
