Family Fun at Amana, IA

Ainsley was more interested in the Christmas tree!

We went to the Amana colonies for lunch today!  Ains feel asleep in the car on the drive--so she's a little sleep here!

She perked right up when lunch arrived!  She loved the strawberry jam with the homemade bread!

Ainsley doesn't know what to make of tights when I put them on her.  She just giggles!

After lunch we went to an event in the Amana Colonies--in one of the big beautiful barns they decorate 40 theme trees, have santa and reindeer to greet the kids.  We didn't know that the barn didn't have heat...so we looked at the trees very quickly and decided to visit santa another day we were SO cold!  The reindeer was so festive--I've never seen a real one, that was fun!

Tonight our neighbor had us over for a Christmas dinner, so we made our neighbors some treats.  I love these, you can't eat just one!

We also made some cookies to share!
