Serve Sunday! Last Sunday our church did service projects in the city instead of church! We had 10+ sites to choose from! Our life group chose a local mental health day care! We did outdoor work all morning-mainly gardening and cleaning! It was fun to serve with our family and friends!

Their indoor gym at the day care is an old plant hanger!! We learned that several years ago 4 women that started this place approached the local school district and said what is your greatest needed. They thought it may be tutoring after school but the school district said, mental health services at an early age. They said that kids were arriving for kindergarten having experienced so much trauma that their brains couldn’t learn. They were in constant flight or fight mode. I’m so thankful we have this resource in our community!

We recently had a retreat at work-so thankful for every person here and their heart for our students!

I also recently planned a new student experience faculty training for fall!  Hard to believe we are already gearing up for fall!!

Saturday night we host d a girls night at our house and Ains wanted to do a water balloon toss.

This turned into a great water adventure!! The girls loved it and Ryan got soaked! I stayed dry because I reminded them that Mother’s Day was the next day ;)!
