Peace & Hope

Ainsley tried on my shoes this week-she was moving pretty fast in them!
Thursday afternoon I took Ainsley to a Physical Therapy appointment. Within 10-15 minutes of the appointment her physical therapist said she needed to page her neuromuscular doctor so we could get her back involved in Ainsley's care since she was seeing signs of concern with her muscle development.
Sucker punched is how I would describe that news. I thought it would be a quick PT appointment-Ryan wasn't there because we didn't expect this news. We thankfully don't have to wait long to see her-Nov 5. We are praying for clear guidance and a complete eval-our sweet girl has been through so much and we are exhausted.
They also paged a speech therapist to meet with me at the PT appointment. She shared she was worried about Ainsley's recent stuttering-she wanted a complete speech work up (again). We have that appointment on Monday (21st). They are also having us meet with audiology at the CDD on Monday.
We would appreciate prayers for our sweet girl-we are ready for some peace with all of her medical issues.
She is strong!
And smart!
And a fighter (in a good way)!
She likes doctors-with the exception of people messing with her ears-that she is NOT a fan of!
She is determined!
And cute as a button!
She has a good team of family and friends that love her!
This picture is too funny-Ains and I helped to serve a meal for a father/son event this past weekend for our church. Ains was playing with some older girls and they asked her to gather some sticks...and boy did she!

This one's for you dad!
We are going to try to stay positive over the next few weeks and hope that we get good news on Nov 5th.
Because our sweet girl deserves to enjoy life and be a kid!
And enjoy fall!

Sunday night we took A out for ice cream to celebrate the start of school-we are trying to celebrate all of the positives!
