Grandparents & Giggling

We all had fun visiting my dad and Vicki last weekend.  My dad found this push cart for Ainsley.  She likes to ride in it!
Ainsley also loved making the "loop" at papa's house.
and...eating!
Ainsley also loved all of the tractors--thanks for showing us a great time in IL dad and Vicki!
On our way back to Iowa we stopped to have lunch with Ryan's parents and brother and sister-in-law!  After lunch we went to a local park so Ainsley could have some fun!
Ainsley's tummy was so upset--she got sick 2-3 times, but was happy.  Since we knew we couldn't send Ainsley to school--we were thrilled that Ryan's mom could come home with us to Iowa!

Jenny & Tim with Ainsley--they are expecting a baby in October!!!  Ainsley will love having more cousins!  We are SO happy for them--they will be great parents!
Ainsley fell in love with a little puppy at the park--she was chasing Ainsley around, and Ainsley was giggling!
A wanted to take her home!
Ainsley was SO happy her grammie could come visit for a while.  Linda and Ainsley got to hang out at home Mon-Wed and Ainsley is back to 100% now!  Thanks Linda for taking such good care of our little miss!
Linda and I took A to her doctor's apt on Friday and everything looks good!  Ainsley had to give some blood for a few tests and the first attempt was bad--lots of tears so they tried the other arm and more tears, but we got it done.  As soon as we were done Ainsley got a sucker and some stickers and smiled and said bye-bye to the two people drawing her blood.  I am amazed by her resiliency--she wasn't mad and them she just wanted to say bye and leave!
Friday night Ainsley and I had a date night and Ryan and Linda went to the casino for the surf and turf buffet!  They had a great time and A and I did too.  Ainsley got some new shoes Friday night--a new pair of Keens for summer!

Riding the horses with grammie!

Papa Larry arrived Friday night so we all went to breakfast Saturday morning!

Ainsley loves when we have company visit!
In the afternoon on Saturday we took A to the park!  It was a little chilly--but she was ready to be outside!

Ainsley made two friends at the park...2 kids under 5 were there by themselves playing.  The little girl wanted me to push her too--so I was in between the swings pushing the girls.
Ainsley loved playing with her. The little girl looked up at the sky and was giggling.  I thought it was because she saw some birds fly by--she said, "my mom's up there".  I immediately looked at Ryan and my heart just broke.  I said, "is your mommy in heaven"? and she and her brother said "yes".  I said, "I bet your mommy is happy today because you are both having so much fun"!  The little boy said "she watches over us".  I said a quick prayer to God to watch over those two sweet kids who lost their mommy too early and we headed home.

We made dinner Saturday night and little miss kept any eye on things!
During dinner Ainsley was chatting up a storm--we realized she was using her garlic bread as a cell phone!

We ended the night at DQ!  Our sweet girl loves her ice cream!

Oh my! You all have had a busy week! I'm glad you got to spend time with Dad and Vicki and Linda and Larry! So funny about using the bread as a cell-ha ha and so sad about hose kids losing their mom:-(.
And the infamous o-state cheer sweatshirt makes yet another appearance on the blog. I'm so glad I gave you that shirt! You get a lot of use out of it! Ha ha
