Beginning Birthday Celebration

My dad and Vicki have been visiting for the past few days.  It has been fun having them here.  Thursday night Ainsley got a birthday gift from her Aunt Angie!  We facetimed Angie so she could see Ainsley open her gifts.

Since it is Ainsley's birthday week, we've been celebrating with treats!  She enjoyed some red velvet cake ice cream!

Friday we took Ainsley for her big eye test.  She had failed two previous eye tests.

They said Ains was far sighted, but a LOT of kids her age are and it is slight, so she passed!  The doctor said this test was the gold standards for eye exams and she passed!!!  We were thrilled!

Ainsley's exam room was #2!  I had to take a picture of her by the door :)!

They dialated her eyes, so she had to wear sunglasses for a bit!

She perked up when it was present time--thanks dad & Vicki! 

Today we went to the apple orchard and took a tractor ride!  It was SO cold, so we bundled Ainsley up!

After the orchard, we stopped by the Raptor Project.  This project provides a safe home for birds that have been injured.  We saw a variety of owls, a bald eagle, vultures, etc.  Ainsley had fun, but she was cold here!
