Week Re-cap

Ainsley used to smile ALL the time for the camera.  We really have to work these days to get her to stop playing long enough to smile :)!  We have turned our iPhones around recently so she can see herself and she now says "cheese" and then smiles at herself and we take a quick picture!
Hmm, I see myself!
Cheese!
Wednesday we took Ainsley for her 3 month checkup with Endocrinology.    Ainsley has not been sleeping well for the past three weeks.  Ryan and I are exhausted!!  We fully expected her throyid numbers to be off.  Her doctor was happy with Ainsley's vitals, weight (25 1/2 pounds), and height (33+ inches)!  She ordered labs and said she would email later that day with the results and talk about meds changes if needed.
Off to labs!
I normally hold Ainsley, but Ryan volunteered that day.  Look how tired poor Ryan looks...the appointment was at 8 am!
Ainsley is a super star.  She is SO brave!  She only cried for a few seconds because they had a hard time finding a vein.  She did an amazing job!
She recovers so quickly!  She was off and playing right after.  They have to leave the bandage on for 20 minutes after and she always holds her arm up because it is a little tight.  Her numbers came back and they were PERFECT!  Right where they should be--no med changes.  Her doctor emailed and said the sleeping problem must be something else, we think that something else is  little miss testing her boundaries.  We've been giving in too much the past 3 weeks because we thought it was medicine related.  She wakes up at 3 pm and cries and signs "play". We are getting her back on track.  Tonight she was in bed and asleep by 8 pm.
Wednesday night, Ryan and I asked Ainsley's favorite teacher  to watch Ainsley while we went out for dinner.  Ainsley loves Lauren, she had fun and went to bed at 7:45 pm!  Lauren has a magic touch!  That night helped to get Ainsley back on track, maybe we should go to dinner more often!  We ate a great meal and then went to the mall.
Tonight we had some sprinkler fun!

Ainsley got a new book (thanks dad!)--Llama, Llama Red Pajama.  She loves the Llama  book series.  I showed her the book on the way to the bath and she immediately sat down in the bathroom and started "reading".  She's a keeper!
